`AC` also: AE, Et, EEE, E3, AE3, AE4, AE5, 1 AC	Communication error: the dryer's control boards cannot talk to each other	Call a professional
`AC7` also: 1 AC7	Electronic control error	Call a professional
`Clg` also: Cg, Cl9, C9, C80, C8, C90	Vent Blockage test result: the exhaust vent is clogged (C80 means about 80% blocked, C90 over 90%)	DIY-friendly
`Ct`	Ambient temperature error: the dryer is below freezing or above 104°F (40°C)	Not a fault
`FE` also: FC, 1 FC	Power frequency error: the supply frequency is out of range	DIY checks first
`HC` also: hE, HE, HC4, 1 HC	Heating error: the dryer is overheating, or the heater temperature is invalid	DIY checks first
`HC2`	Gas ignition error (gas dryers only): the burner failed to ignite	Call a professional

`dC` also: dE, do, d0, 1 DC	Door error: the dryer thinks the door is open or not latched	DIY-friendly
`dF` also: 1 dF	Door switch circuit error: the door signal is invalid or intermittent	DIY checks first
`oD` also: Od	Dry time error: drying is taking excessively long	DIY checks first
`tC5` also: tE5, tCS, 1tC5	Temperature sensor error on newer models (compressor temperature sensor on heat-pump models)	DIY checks first
`tE` also: tS, tO, t0, t5, tE3, tC	Temperature sensor error: the thermistor reading is out of range	DIY checks first
